Feedback of my first Pechakucha
I gave the first Pechakucha speech on April 12th. Generally speaking, the whole speech is a brand-new format for me，it‘s quite interesting to describe some of the research processes of the project in a short period of time. After this lecture, I think the good part is that I am very clear about the theme I have chosen and will describe it completely and what goals I want to achieve. But to a certain extent, I think my speech is incomplete.
1.In the pictures of the speech, I chose a picture that was too textual, and the description of a picture was too long, so in the process of the speech, I expounded too much of my research data instead of my thoughts. I think I should take this into consideration in the following research and express my views more.
2.Although I did some exercises before the lecture, I was still very nervous during the lecture, which caused me not to finish all my things within the limited time. I should indicate at the beginning what I want to do and how I want to achieve the goal. So in the final speech, I feel a little pity that I didn’t make a complete conclusion to the whole topic.
3.After the speech, my teachers also gave me some suggestions. They suggested that I should be more detailed in the scope of the subject because fast fashion is a large scope, although I considered two directions, one is the second-hand clothing recycling app, One is webpage display, but it still needs to be more detailed; What’s more, the teacher also suggested that I should think more about where my target audience will come into contact with my product, that is, consider the scenario, which gave me a lot of inspiration.
In the next phase, I will do more user research. Including user interviews and questionnaire, as well as PACT analysis and competitive product analysis. Determine the theme as soon as possible and proceed with the design process.
